Duygu Çoban
Duygu Çoban, the founder, lecturer, and art director of Fads Art Academy, works with a broad global perspective and a deep connection to contemporary art. Leveraging her expertise in art and design education, she inspires students while guiding them to develop their technical and creative skills. In her atelier, students are provided with an environment where they can freely express themselves and create unique, impactful portfolios.
Thanks to her vision and experience in the arts, Duygu Çoban has collaborated with renowned universities worldwide and served as an art representative in major projects. These achievements have helped Fads Art Academy gain international recognition, establishing ongoing connections with prestigious institutions such as ISTITUTO EUROPEO DI DESIGN, ISTITUTO MARANGONI, POLIMODA, ROME UNIVERSITY OF FINE ARTS, and the UNIVERSITY OF ARTS LONDON.
Beyond her educational and mentorship roles, Duygu Çoban is also the founder of Fads Production Company. This initiative allows her to bring her designs to life and present them on the global stage. In this way, the artistic knowledge and skills nurtured at the academy extend their influence internationally, creating a broader impact for students and the art community alike.
What we do in FADS?
FADS Art Academy is an educational institution that provides portfolio preparation programs, application counseling for Italian universities, and international education guidance for students who wish to study art, design, and architecture abroad.
Founded on the more than 20 years of experience of its founder, Duygu Çoban, FADS Art Academy supports students in developing their creative potential, building strong portfolios, and gaining admission to art, design, and architecture universities around the world. Since its establishment, the academy has successfully placed students in international universities every year and, particularly in recent years, has achieved significant success in admissions to some of the world's leading art and design schools.
FADS Art Academy offers portfolio preparation programs in a wide range of disciplines, including architecture, interior architecture, graphic design, industrial design, fashion design, animation, game design, illustration, visual communication design, and fine arts. The educational process focuses not only on developing technical skills but also on strengthening creative thinking, design methodology, visual perception, and project development abilities.
Through studio-based education, one-on-one mentoring programs, online courses, and international workshops, students are able to create projects that meet the expectations of their target departments and universities. In addition to portfolio development, the academy provides comprehensive guidance on university research, program selection, application strategies, motivation letters, and enrollment procedures.

In addition to portfolio preparation training, FADS Art Academy serves as an international university application center, providing comprehensive consultancy services for admissions and enrollment processes at art, design, and architecture universities abroad.
The academy guides students through every stage of the process, including university and program selection, portfolio development, motivation letter preparation, organization of application documents, submission of university applications, and completion of enrollment procedures.
FADS Art Academy also collaborates with internationally recognized institutions such as IED (Istituto Europeo di Design), Istituto Marangoni, RUFA (Rome University of Fine Arts), Polimoda, NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), and Domus Academy, acting as a representative office and application center for various educational institutions in Türkiye.
